Family Law Disputes

The people of India belong to different religions and faiths. They are governed by different sets of personal laws in respect of matters relating to family affairs i.e. marriage, divorce, succession, etc. All these fraternities of social, sensitive and personal disputes among families and individuals has been categorized under ‘Family Law’ which has been codified in different enactments applicable to people of different religions, communities, caste or creed. Few examples are- The Hindu Marriage Act 1955; The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Divorce) Act, 1956; The Special Marriage Act, 1954; The Indian Succession Act, 1925; The Indian Divorce Act, 1869, Guardians and Wards Act 1890, Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act 1956, etc. We give services to the low income individuals for resolving family disputes on a pro-bono basis and also gives priority in keeping the privacy of sensitive family issues a secret and handle the same with proper counselling and guidance with care and moral understanding.
